Who we are

From humble beginnings in 1991, within a large home workshop in Newstead, Fernlea Cabinetry and Joinery was started. The company was started by husband and wife team Frank and Linda Lawrence, since then the company has grown to employ over 30 staff, now in their current premises in Te Rapa.
The early day's, work primarily comprised of meeting the needs of private customers, since 2007 Fernlea has been in the commercial field, today 80% of their work is done through commercial companies.
We have our own install team to look after your job from start to finish.
Fernlea are training the future joiners, at present we have four apprentices training for the full joinery craftsperson qualification.
